Jacqueline Lane ‘28
Jacqueline Lane is a freshman at Harvard, planning to concentrate in Neuroscience with a secondary in Economics. Jacqueline was born and raised in Los Angeles, where she trained at the Peninsula School of Performing Arts from the age of 5. She performed roles such as Sugar Plum in The Nutcracker and Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, while also competing in competitions such as YAGP. During her junior year of high school, she was named a YoungArts Finalist and scholarship recipient in the Dance category. The same year, she was invited to the 2022 Prix de Lausanne competition in Switzerland. From there, she received a two-year scholarship to The School of the Hamburg Ballet John Neumeier and moved to Germany for her senior year of high school. During her time there, she performed and toured with the company in their productions of Sleeping Beauty, Romeo & Juliet, and “Yondering” by John Neumeier. She performed in all shows of the company’s Swan Lake as part of their corps de ballet.
