Emma Nagler is a junior at Harvard studying Chemical and Physical Biology with a secondary in Theater, Dance, and Media, on the pre-med track. Emma grew up on Long Island, New York, where she began her ballet training at American Ballet Theatre’s JKO School and with Eglevsky Ballet. Starting at age 10, she trained under the direction of Karen Lynch at the Lynch School of Ballet in Huntington, New York. She had the opportunity to perform featured roles in many Lynch Ballet Company productions, including Snow Queen in The Nutcracker, Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, and Spanish soloist in Swan Lake, in addition to dancing in Coppelia, Don Quixote, and Cinderella. Emma has attended summer intensives at Ballet West, American Ballet Theatre, Next Generation Ballet, Manhattan Youth Ballet, Ballet Chicago, and Carolina Ballet. Emma is excited to continue dancing with HBC this semester!
