Anastasia Poliakova ‘28
Anastasia Poliakova is a freshman at Harvard College, planning on concentrating in Economics and Philosophy. Anastasia was born in San Francisco, California, but moved to Tokyo, Japan from a very young age. Ballet has been a big part of Anastasia’s life. She started dancing at the International Ballet School in Tokyo since she was 3 years old, and has graduated from the school in June 2024. She also joined the International Ballet Company’s Junior company in her freshman year of high school. Anastasia had the opportunity to perform with professional dancers from all around the world: from the Mariinsky theatre, Mikhailovsky theatre and the Mannheim ballet theatre. She has also had the opportunity to take masterclasses with dancers from the Paris Opera Ballet, the Bolshoi Ballet and the Vaganova Ballet Academy. Outside of ballet, Anastasia is also a part of the Radcliffe Choral Society at Harvard College.
