Allison Wan

Allison is a third year doctoral student studying political science and social networks at Northeastern's Network Science Institute. She originally hails from the San Francisco Bay Area where she found her love for ballet at the Contra Costa Ballet School. She also spent time doing traditional Chinese folk dance with the now defunct Contra Costa Chinese Cultural Enrichment Organization. In college, she expanded her horizon to a variety of other dance styles with the Vassar Repertory Dance Theatre. Since coming to Boston, she frequently takes classes with and occasionally teaches at the Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre. In her free time, Allison loves painting, drawing, crafts of all sorts, cooking as well as outdoor activities including biking, hiking, and going on long rambling walks. She would like to thank her family, friends, and lovely partner for making her the person she is today.
