Yifei Li

Yifei Li is a third-year PhD student at MIT studying computer science. She grew up dancing at Shanghai Wang Qifeng Ballet School in Shanghai, China, where she was trained under the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus. After moving with her family to New Jersey in her junior year of high school, she became a company member of and continued training with the New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble. Yifei finished her undergraduate degree in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University and now focuses on research in computer graphics. Besides ballet, Yifei also enjoys playing classical guitar and photography. She is looking forward to continuing dancing with the Harvard Ballet Company!
